The Brookings Farmers Market wishes you and your family a safe & happy Independence Day weekend. Our market will be closed this Saturday, 7/4, in observance of the federal holiday. If you are in need of local food items for your 4th of July gatherings, feel free to send us a message and we will connect you with the right producer!
Every Saturday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. | May 9th through October 31st, 2020 300th block of 6th Ave (between Library & Courthouse)
During this time, it is more important than ever to ensure that farmers’ markets continue to safely provide fresh fruits and vegetables to community members who rely on them while also providing an essential market for our local farmers and entrepreneurs.
Please follow these guidelines to keep our market safe & open:
Honor physical distancing of 6 ft
Observe chalk and signage indicating where to stand/wait
Stay home if sick
Wash hands regularly, and always before/as you enter the market
Try to limit your market visit time
Cough and sneeze away from people and food
Please show kindness and respect to your fellow market shoppers. Thank you for your support!
***Market will occasionally close early due to weather or vendors selling out of products. Be sure to arrive earlier in the day for the best selection.***
The Brookings Farmers' Market, a nonprofit organization, was established to provide a community gathering place where local farmers and entrepreneurs can sell directly to the consumer.
